Default Missing something.. But can't see it

I've been creating a gallery on www.brodyharris.com on the pix page and for some reason Gallery 4 is not working.

Can anyone take a look at let me know what I missed.

I went as far as recreating the entire layer, but to no avail.

Unhappy Re: Missing something.. But can't see it

You are linking this 4th button to a link that doesn't seem to exist : Gallery4!!

    Have fun,

Hi Bobby - I think I answered your question about Picasa galleries here:

    http://www.talkgraphics.com/showthre...795#post333795

I looked at your file above, I cannot see the error but gallery4 is playing automatically as soon as you open the pix page, which is why it appears not to be working, because it's actually already running. But it should not start before the link is clicked, I can't see why this is happening sorry.

    sledger,
I noticed he doesn't have any mouseoff or mouseover layers. Are these pages or page names required in any way? My webs have always had them so I thought I would ask. I can't find any reason for it not to work.

mouseoff and mouseover are only names Jim. Just makes it easy to define and understand the purpose of the layer.

Layer1 has all his navigation buttons on it Jim - it's not empty.
Commonly you would see this layer named 'mouseoff', but the name doesn't matter.

    Steve,

Thanks for checking the link. I am glad I'm not the only one who can't see why that happened.

BUT my plan is to use the separate pages as you suggested.

It's definitely a much more elegant approach to this challenge.

h, I don't know why it works but it does.
    Reopen your file posted here.
    Open the name gallery
There is a named object called Gallery4.
    Rename it Gallery4_Old
Test and it works as expected.

Don't have a clue why, perhaps John Horn could enlighten us.

    Cute pics by the way.

Thanks Eric! I'll do that tonight just to try it.

The link Steve provided looks a lot better and will allow for loading a new page VS having tons of data on one page.

Thank you for the compliment on the pix.

EDIT: Just tried renaming that object Gallery44 and it worked. Very strange indeed.
