Default Xara Web Design tutor in Tampa, Florida?

Hello - I am a very "un-techy" person who has bought Xara Web Designer and played around with it, but keep getting stuck with certain things. For instance, right now my web site (only 3 pages so far) has decided to make the first page NON-interactive, and I don't know how this happened!

Is there anyone in the Tampa area who is familiar with Xara who I could hire as a tutor? I enjoy making my own site (at least so far, although it is not uploaded), but would do better asking questions than attempting to search through all the information when I don't even know the term to use for what has happened.

    Thank you.

    Debbie

I have moved the thread to the Web Designer forum.

Debbie you can post your questions here.

If you attach your .web file for your website we can see what may have caused your page one to no longer be interactive.

I'm sorry - it took me 20 minutes to find out where to go to start a new thread!! I thought I was following the right "path" under web design. Did I mention that I am (thus far) very un-techy??? lol

Thank you, Bill. Unfortunately I am SO "un-techy" that I do not know how to do what you describe. This is why I need a tutor. Sorry to be so clueless - I really like the LOOK of the pages I have made, just don't know what to do about "glitches' and how to proceed.

    Default Hey, cool!

thanks for the tutorial - I see it's like adding files to email. I didn't know that. I am easily confusa-bobbled, lol.

OK, here is the site so far with the first page seeming to be non-interactive now.

....hmmmm, the message I got was that the upload could not be performed because a "security token" was missing. Perhaps that has to do with my problem on my first page? Did I accidentally mess up my file when fiddling around with it previously?

So, no attachment at this time.

Debbie that message indicates your file is too large.

You must have many large photographs in your web site.

    Default Trying again

    Let me try this again.

OK, I tried, making sure there was a ".web" after the file name. Same problem. Says to inform the administrator if this problem occurred unexpectedly. Is that necessary at this point?
