Clive it's possible you are re uploading at the time I just visited to take a look, because there are many images put of place? (example attached)

If not, remember that when you make changes to your site and re upload, please make certain you upload everything again.

Hi Clive, yeh still lots of images out of place here in all browsers.
Something isn't happening right for you with the uploading perhaps?

Also, try to avoid spaces in your file names for uploading:
01 william lowe.flv for example would be better as 01-william-lowe.flv instead (same with the .swf player name)

Definitely looks like an incomplete upload of the index_htm_files folder. I would try opening the index_htm_files folder on your computer and also on the server. Select all the files in the folder on your end and drag them to the server folder. It's worked for me in the past to fix a similar problem.

    Hi Jim

Could I please just run through this with you

    I upload with CuteFTP

    The left panel the HD
    The right panel the sever

Double click and open the index_htm_files folder on the HD select all the files and drop them in the open index_htm_files folder on the Server

Don't forget the index.htm Clive. It's outside the index_htm_files folder and is the html source code which controls everything that is contained in that folder (positioning of all images and so on).
If the index.htm is not uploaded, the old copy will reference the wrong image to the wrong position.

    Clive,
That is correct, but you also need to do as sledger mentioned. As an example, if you have a single-page website you will have a file called index.htm (which is your webpage) and a folder called index_htm_files (which holds all the files associated with that webpage). Every time the website is modified or changed, both the index.htm file and index_htm_files folder have to be uploaded again. The reason is that when you save a website then export it, Xara renames each file and places it in the index_htm_files folder, and the names of each file can change during the export. If you don't upload everything completely and a file name has been changed, you will see the wrong graphic. Hope this helps.

    Clive,
Here are 2 samples, first one I didn't upload the index_htm_files folder, second one I did and it is correct. Note the blurred, oversized, and out of place images.

    Hi Jim and Sledger

Thanks for all your help I’m now getting things sorted it’s just a awesome program `

I’ve down loaded the site to start again and uploaded a temporary site it’s had 171 visitors

Is it best to use layers to build the pages
