hi,

is it possible to change the looks of the web-popup-photo?

like the border, the close-icon or even animation?

just made an example popup with custom button right top and info thing bottom left and a transparent png with highlight and darkening effect on top of the popup picture.

that would be cool.

Not at this time.

You can create your own popup container in a popup layer of course, but the built-in version has no options for customization (yet)

the js files seem to be the place to edit and try

Looks good Egg.
But is quite a lot of work for novices to take on. I believe Xara could easily add several options to the built-in popup photo routine which makes it quite simple to tailor the window colours/close button and effect to suit any page design.

Oh I agree with that. One problem I have with the supplied file is that if you click on the pop-up photo it closes the pop-up. Next time it's reopened it doesn't tween correctly. I don't know if this is a function of a pop up layer or not. It's probably fixable with one of john's tweaks.
