html code needed for sample page

I want a flash file to run and stop only when a button is clicked on. What code do I use? I've attached a sample xara and flash file.

Ron you can use a popup layer for this, no external html code needed.
You can also make use of Covoxers 'Locking popup' tweak (Download the TWEAKSET here) to keep the popup visible until you click a button to close it (all instructions are in the 'LP'tweak).

Here's an example using flash video which opens from a link (you could use a button) and then locks until closed from a link (you could use a button).

(allow time for the video to load after clicking the 'Open Video' link)

The problem I'm having is that all the flash bars activate from the onclick layer when I click on one button, instead of just the one flash bar activating.

They will if they are all on the same layer Ron. Each has to be on it's own named layer which loads only when a button is clicked to open that named popup layer?

Ron, if your button has a link to another web page it will load that page and you'll loose any animations on that page because you'll be loading a new one.

It would help a great deal if you could show us an example (from the web) of what your trying to achieve.

ok. I uploaded it earlier in the post, but I'll load it again. I've written on the page what I'm trying to accomplish. I want mouseover effect and also onclick effect when the text is clicked on. The text itself is linked to a web page.

Ron, that's the point I'm trying to make. If a button is linked to another page, it replaces the page you've just clicked the button on and therefore the animation won't show.
