Way to go, love it. I thought it was a photograph as well, you fooled me, lol. Remind me not to park my mini and mustang there, hehe, I refuse to feed the meter.

Excellent piece of work, Harry. Those types of parking meters are disappearing quickly now.
    Do you accept digital quarters?

Steve, John, BP, Bill, Nancy, Ron, Larry, Gary, Bob, Michele and Gray, thanks for all of the fantastic responses, they are greatly appreciated.

Steve > It's a brand new meter. I just unpacked it and put it into service. The birds have yet to get a lock on the target.

Bill > I think that meter was manufactured before quarters were invented. Just kidding. Yes, some meters do have slots for quarters and I've used parking meters where there were only quarter slots. I've never won anything from them, though, unless you call not getting a parking ticket 'winning'.

Nancy > Yeah, maybe a little too perfect? Thanks for giving me the kick in the butt I needed (whether you knew it or not) to get me started doing more of my own projects. I was definitely a tutorial addict before you started posting all of your wonderful works. Now I've got to work on developing my own style.

Gary > You're going to have to get those quarters converted to nickels and dimes for this meter. Maybe I'll take the time and add a quarter slot for you and Bill.

Bob > I've definitely come a long way in a short time thanks to you, Gary, Egg, Steve Ledger, Xhris and many others (sorry if I don't mention everyone by name). Not to mention, I've found Xara Xtreme lives up to its name and is extremely easy to use (unlike numerous other programs I've tried). As to the request for 'more, please', I hope to oblige.

Michele > I had seen your 'Mini' before but I had missed your 'Mustang'. I'm glad I took the time to look/re-look both of them up. You've got some skills. I, for one, would enjoy seeing more of your work(s).

Gray > No problem! Just scan and email me the correct amount. I'll just print it out or forward it to someone I owe money to.

    More works are in progress,
    Harry

Here's a 25˘ slot for all of you who want to pay more for parking. I had to fiddle around with this a bit more than I would have liked since I couldn't remember the exact settings I used for the original coin slots and values. Silly me.

I noticed there haven't been many new cars posted since I put up the parking meter...,

Our's our grey too but I like this color and your coin slots are spot on.

Well you don`t see that type of metre anymore here.
Here there is one machine where you go and purchase a ticket
and then you place it behind the windscreen.

Second, please don`t use round pipes for your meter.
I have a nice pipecutter here, and I will be making the money
    when the meter is full.

But it is a nice picture

That is very nice and realistic, well done. Maybe next someone wil have to make some coins to go in the meter.
