if the lads don't mind me jumping in here - that's because the larger shape is a square - move it off the page and you will see the white background
just use the same method to extract the large circle from this....

sorry about quoting the post..
thanks for the help, but im finding it difficult to do so i give up on that
Cheers
Thank you handrawn i managed to get it to a cirle now by doing what you said.. cheers for your help, i will have another go now..
In X3D set everything to zero.
Display the cursor.
Paste circle (or type a 'full-stop').
Hit the [Return] key.
Paste another circle (or type a 'full-stop').
Load your [texture] ie. your design (you do not have to cut out the ball)
Select one circle and increase it's [extrusion] value lager than the other circle.
Now adjust it's [font size] so that it is the size of the ball.
In [animation options] select [rotate1] and select rotation around the centre.
Using the cursor now select the larger circle.
In [animation options] make sure that it is not rotating.
This method rotates the ball around it's centre but you can just as easily rotate it around another axis although it will not look as good.
You can also make the ball spherical by simply increasing the [extrusion] and [curved bevel] settings.
True love is the ultimate truth
I forgot to add that you will need to adjust the texture sizes individually as well using the cursor select.
You may as well look at the .x3d file as I have omitted to add quite a few other adjustments as well.
True love is the ultimate truth
