    Welcome to TG Forums Denny,

Please try to make sure you post in the correct forum.
I have moved your thread from the Off Topic Chat forum to Talk Web > Web Designer / Xtreme .

Image backgrounds are possible by first importing your image into XWD, deleting it off the page then open the bitmap gallery, select the image and press the 'background' button.
Your image will only fill the page in XWD, but will fill the browser screen when previewed or exported (will tile by default).

No need to text message here.

No there is no standard size for a web page. A lot depends on who will see your page. Xtreme and Web Designer center the content of your web page in the visitor's browser.

Right click on the page and select Page Options> Page Size. In the Paper Size drop down list there are three standard sizes: 640 (width) VGA, 760 SVGA and 955 XGA. You can use any of these sizes.

640 is best if you want your page to be visible in most monitors, but is rather small. 760 or 955 should work in most larger monitors.
