Considering Nikons, it is hard to say after a year-long experience based on Nikon Coolpix 5700. I have made a couple of commercial projects thanks to my Nikon. Every year brings more and, say, better gadgets. maybe they will be more sophisticated. My son-in-law has just gotten a Minolta, but to give details is too premature.
