Hi
have a job to convert 850 corel print house files to a format supported by corel x4. Will X4 open cph files? Will any version of corel batch convert?
Is there a batch program of any sort or am I in trouble?
thanks
Ian

Ian apparently Thumbsplus can open .cph file and perhaps Xnview too.
Also there's a free online conversion service that might be worth checking out:
http://www.youconvertit.com/
Unfortunately the site doesn't load for me from Australia at the moment, though an online contact in New Mexico has no trouble loading the site.
Have a look there and let us know if it was of any help?
(Though 850 files might be a strain for an online solution)
Hi
neither of the two programs you suggest will open cph files. Contenta doesn't support it either.
Off to try paint shop pro
cheers

Hi
would really appreciate it if someone could try to open the attached cph files.
I have loads to convert and I've tried:
photoshop, paintshop pro, corel x4,x3, irfan view, thumbview, contenta, paint, dreamweaver etc
but all failed to recognise the format.
I then (being very naughty and tired!) searched and found a "copy" of Print house V5
and installed it.
I tried to open several of the 800 files I have to convert and to my horror print house
failed to recognise the format.
So either I have the wrong version for these files (given to me on CD) or all 800+ are corrupt
cheers

Ian have your tried XnView? http://www.xnview.com/en/index.html
I have not tried it myself but I did find some references on pages dated 2005 that mention XnView as a coverter for .cph files.
A single license of XnView for commercial use is 26 Euros. It is free for personal use.
