Can someone tell me why the 'suppose to be solid white circle' under the largest circle will not stop being semitransparent? thanks.

Is it because it has a [Live effect], [Fill] and a [Transparency]?

Sorry for hijacking your thread tekarts. I just had to try Gary's mini tut. I ended up deleting the problem ellipse and made another.

    For Burpee.
Nancy,l if you move the circles untill you get to the white one you will see that it does have a transparency which can be made non-transparent.
You just can't select it by alt clicking. So if you do that you will have to put the top two back manually. At least that is my take on the problem.

Hey Larry, I moved the ellipse aside and did everything I could think of to make it solid again. Nothing worked. I had to make a new ellipse and then it worked. This is a problem that I keep running into with XX....especially with lines. They will have a transparency on them, like the previous object (I have apply previous object attributes enabled) and no matter what I do, I can not make it solid again. Well, not true...sometimes if I select a different transparency (like hue or brightness) and then go back to mix, and then go to freehand tool and select a different style and then go back to the default one, it will correct itself. Very irritating.
