    Default A flash history timeline

Has anyone designed a sliding history timeline and/or a text slider using a graphic slide button (not the usual windows scroll bar type) using XWD by any chance? We've been sourcing out something additional for a historic museum site we designed. One very impressive example we ran across near our own area is:

Lots of interesting things going on in the display. The up/down graphic text slider within the time line itself has been one of the challenges.

We're working on our own version but just wondering if anyone might have used XWD to handle this type of job before. Appreciate any input. Thanks.

Something like your example is beyond what Xara Web Designer (or Xtreme) was designed to do with Flash, you would need a professional Flash authoring tool like Adobe Flash or Swish Max and then embed the result via a placeholder.

For what it's worth, Tejon (pronounced Tae-hone) is Spanish for badger.

I live on a street called Tejon Cañon Road.

Thanks for the consideration Sledger and Gary. If we can somehow solve it we'll get back with the process.

Yep, Tejon is Badger. We owned Tejon Publishing Company for awhile. Here, Tejon is a massive private ranch with a lot of class and various environmental land developments just south of Bakersfield.

    Thanks again.

    Try Flashden.net

This link might work for you. You can buy the files for $12.00 and it is XML driven (you don't need Flash).

    Good luck!
