    Photo Curious views?

Currently I have this sitting on a table inside the house.

But what is it? Can you tell?

It looks like a clarinet or woodwind of some sort....or piccalo.

While it is true that there is a (very rusty) musician in the house and it is true that the objects do in fact involve air, they do not belong to a musical instrument (in spite of their name).

Sort of reminds me of some sort of automative part like an air intake or carburator or something like that. I just don't what it's called.

    Hmm... tricky one ...
Parts of a steam or air engine ... such as piston / cylinder sleeves or valves of some sort?
Pitch pipes for tuning a musical instrument?
    A brass steam train whistle?
