1 line and one quick shape. Use for texturing 3D clothes or for a background.

This probably doesn’t qualify but it is only 2 shapes, or was anyway.
1 spiral and 1 rectangle sliced broken and the individual parts re-colored, grouped, and cloned.
I suppose that technically there are 5 shapes but I thought it was neat anyway. Since the spiral is no longer part of the equasion that puts it at 4 shapes.

Just a ellipse repeated as nauseum .... and a rectangle used to slice and dice.

I used it for making borders for certificates etc. when I was a Cub/Scout leader. The children liked getting certificates ..... Still enjoy making these.

Obviously subtle colour variations and contours can make this a very detailed border.

Well, you have all been busy since I was last here. I asked for inventive and it's here in spades. I sort of reinvented the wheel.
Followers of the B.C. strip cartoon may recognise this as the stone age mode of transport.
Just 2 extruded circles, another circle to make a subtraction and one of the extrudes duplicated. Very useful back in the day.
    Saludos,
    Bob.
