Dan, I think the easiest way you could go about it is just to drop your cartoons onto the Xara page. You could create one site say for fences and then use that as a template for all the other catogories.

    Egg:
Good input...I have been studying the user interface for Xara Xtreme (I downloaded the trial). One question is this....I currently use FrontPage2002....I am so used to it. But am willing to try Xtreme and wonder if I set up an index page, make my first table....why could I not highlight all content in PAGE VIEW with FrontPage open, then open up Xtreme and copy/paste all of the content? Is that possible?
again, FYI here is my index page: www.danscartoons.com

(of course, I'd delete the current photogalleries)

Remember that XWD or Xtreme 5 are not HTML editors.
There is no html editing or 'code view' (except to look at the temp cached source during a 'preview').

You can add (pre edited) code snippets via placeholders, however the bulk of your site design doesn't exist as HTML until you export it.
Also you cannot open pre existing HTML pages in XWD or Xtreme.

You could open a page inside an Xtreme or XWD made page which was originally created in FP using an iframe. The iframe source would be an external .htm file (your FP file).

so a site would actually be built from scratch, correct?

You can't take an .html page and import it. It doesn't work that way.

I'd start with a template layout you like.
Then copy/paste text and copy graphic files over from your current site.
Adjust the colors, etc. to your liking and see what happens.
I moved over to XWD from my previous software that way, and I'm very happy with the way it turned out.

In Xtreme 5 or Xara Web Designer, yes pretty much.

Also remember that there are no <table> elements in Xtreme or XWD and no <form> either.
Forms can be set inside placeholders, search the forum - there's plenty of help with these.

Yes Dan. forget your previous construction methods, just rebuild it (very simply) in Xara Xtreme.
