Default Text Scroll src=text.text Not Working

    Greetings
followed a tutorial Using this code:

    <iframe name=txtScroll src=index_htm_files/text.htm height=100% width=100% scrolling=auto frameborder=1 marginheight=0 marginwidth=5></iframe>

The place holder is showing, but no text (not even white text on a white background. nothing is selectible.

I know it works, but i can't seem to find what is missing!

what are some things to check?

Where is text.htm actually located - inside the index_htm_files folder as expected?

    yes, I have tried the text.htm in the K:\[ TEMPLATES ]\Website Templates\BNF - Template 2\index_htm_files

    and text.txt in the K:\[ TEMPLATES ]\Website Templates\BNF - Template 2
    (as per the tutorial)

the second version text.htm) looks better.

I still cannot get this to work!
I've been asking the wrong questions.
HOW do you wrap the text in a font tag and rename it to test.htm

I see the files you have provided work, but i'm not understanding how the text.file is created, or where all the flies are located in the Folder.

Do you have to make a new page and resize it to the width of the text> Label it "text"> add your text, then export as website to generate a text.htm file?

    Sadicus,

Your text.htm file can be wherever you wish. In the attached xar file I've linked the placeholder to this thread. So you should get how it works.

Hey that is really nice of you to do that, and that's cool. I had no idea you could place an entire web page in there.

    1) How did you get the web page to squeeze itno the width of the box? (what is controlling that?)
    2) is there a way to change the Text Color, and Background Color?

It must be something i'm doing with the src=
because I still cant get a text.txt file to show up.

No you need to create a text.htm file not a text.txt file. The text.htm is just another html web page. The size is determined by the placeholder width/height.

Change Text Colour Background colour in your text.htm web page.
