Designs Gallery Missing

I have the most recent version of WebDesigner and yet every time I go to New Designs Gallery (sp?) it won't open. It acts like the link is not clickable. It does absolutely nothing. I cannot access any of the themes. It worked previously. Now it does not. Nothing has changed that I'm aware of (no new software installs, etc.). I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn't help either. I need assistance! Help! :-)

I have no idea why this would be the case.

Try pressing Shift F10 (the Shift key and the F10 function key) and see it that works.

No, still nothing. Sorry I had tried that also before I posted before. Does the uninstall completely remove the program or are their fragments I need to remove manually before trying another install?

Hi Mare,

The unistall removes everything, allowing for a clean re-install.

However there can still be some files and folders remaining, isn't that true Bill? And should these be removed as well?

Yes Gary there may be a few files or folders remaining but they would not interfere with a re-install. The only files and folders I am familiar with that would remain are not in the Program Files folder.

8 years later . . . . . .

I'm experiencing the same issue and have tried all of the solutions posted here.
The Designs Gallery - Bitmap - Line - galleries are all visible as a button but do not respond to clicking on them.



I'm running Xara Web Designer 9 Premium 64 bit.

Are there any new solutions that have been found over the past 8 years?

You have reinstalled the program?

Go to Window on the menu bar, then control bars, press the Reset button. Be warned though this will reset any customisation to the button bars.
