using with VideoStudio and Studio

Hi all;

Just purchased Xara 3D and have "played" with it a little. What a great program!! I am just getting used to using this little gem, and I seem to discover something new with it each time.

Anyway, I have figured out how to use it with Power Point; but now I want to use it with my NLE's (Pinnacle Studio v12u, and Corel VideoStudio X2 Pro).

I am wondering if there are any tutorials, or if someone has already figured out the best settings for using Xara 3D with these programs?

My particular concerns are how to get transparent backgrounds; the NLE's seem to be a little touchy on what parameters are used. My results are "hit-and-miss" at best; and mostly "misses".

Also, I noticed that when using .avi; that I seem to have a choice of many codec's. Anyone know which is/are the best?
