Whaaaat??? I thought this was a thread about Keyboard Shortcuts!

Taking a scroll through Xara Xtreme Pro 5's Customize key shortcuts Commands list I noticed an entry for 'More Xtreme'. "What could be better than the Xtreme I had, than to have 'More Xtreme' included in what was already my favorite software!", I thought. The command didn't have a keyboard shortcut so I quickly assigned it one so I could check out the added functionality I'd discovered.

After applying some 'More Xtreme' to several objects/shapes I started to develop a strong case of XMD (Xtreme Mental Depression) over the fact that the 'More Xtreme' I applied the more everything appeared to stay the same.

Has anyone ever successfully applied the 'More Xtreme' command on something in XXP4/XXP5 and noticed that it actually did something? Anything? Is this one of those 'legacy leftover' items, or something just lurking around awaiting 'future development'?

Yes Harry it works well.
This highly custom shortcut gives you most of the vector tools that have been asked for over the years (and some extras)

However, for this 'More Xtreme' customised shortcut to work correctly you need a more extreme Keyboard.

Steve, that keyboard would compliment the new functionality of the 'More Xtreme' shortcut command quite well. I couldn't tell exactly what keys I pressed in order to not see what the 'More Xtreme' tool hadn't done.

Good detective work there, handrawn. I had forgotten about that menu item. So much for me discovering a new, great and all-powerful tool in Xara Xtreme.
