    Default Creating PDf's

Hi, In Indesign there is an option to create spreads in Pdf for viewing.
Does anybody know if that is possible with Pro 5 and how to do it?

    Thanks

    Hi Dave,

I have no idea what "create spreads in Pdf for viewing" might mean?

Could you explain a little more?

    Hi Sledger,

I simply mean double page spreads. For instance if I am creating a booklet it is sometimes nice to view the pdf as it actually will appear when finished. Currently I can only view as individual pages.

    Thanks

I think the only way to do this is to cheat. Create a single page to the size of the spread and then add both facing pages.

I think the A4 double page spread template may work.

I tried that too Bill (along with Options>>Page Size>>Double page spread)- but it doesn't show a double page spread as PDF which is what I think Peter is asking?
(that is, when exported to PDF)

Certainly fine during design within Xtreme though.

Steve did you remember to select Whole spread rather than individual pages?

    Yeh I did (forget)

But Adobe Reader or Foxit etc see it as one page rather than a double page.

Still - I mistook Peters requirements, looks like Dbl Page Spread in Xtreme works for him
