Link to Open in same Window

I've got a lot of links and want to have them open in my site in order for viewers NOT to escape - well, not as easy as it would otherwise be.
I believe the answer lies here

Are you meaning links to other sites rather than your own pages?

You can use an iframe, but bear in mind many sites have code that prevent them from being loaded into a frame and will automatically make the page 'break out' of frames.

the example on

has a page with the links sorted on a left shoulder which, if clicked, open up in the rest of the same page window.
in my case i'd like to have the links (which are all over the page http://www.ecostuff.co.za/ecostufflinks.htm ) open in a seperate page which is still a part of my site in order to - as far as possible - keep viewers on my site. Is something like that possible? It seems i'll have to create a page specifically for that purpose, and if so how?
pardon the 'stupid' questions, but in some areas i'm still crawling...

You could create a new page in XWD and use a placeholder with an <iframe which is 100% height and width of that new page and where the source (src=) is the URL of the page to be loaded.
This new page is loaded via a normal link from the index page.

Note however that the remote page which loads in the iframe will be *fixed* to the size of the placeholder.
