Photo Galleries showing a "Backgrnd of Page"

I was going to post a new thread but this has to do with galleries.
My galleries which some may have saw, .. I made them enlarge to 1600 and so they were HUGE.
OK they looked fine , or the enlarging worked fine , when they were at default 500 and still at 1600 or whatever , some were 500 400 800.

Then two days ago. I dont know what happened but on the web and my back ups are messed up. in that when the are enlarged the webpage is seen behind the picture so especially with smaller pictures the viewer sees the web page like double on the screen and they dont seem moveable, which i think they were before.
very weird.
