They are. But I'm not saying they all are. Try before you buy would be a good advice.

Most PSP plug-ins are not. If memory doesn't fail me, almost all PSP6, 7 and CS are not (if not all). PSP5.5 and 5 can be made to work in Photo-Paint just fine, almost all of them... All you've got to do is:

Copy "plugin.dll" from your Photoshop folder to "windows\system32" folder and then in CPT options indicate the folder where photoshop plugins are stored... and there you go... all the photoshop things ready for use in CPT.
    Yes, it's me.

Adobe changed the PS filters in 6 and above. I used a PS 5.5 filter in Xara X for the attached. Some will work, but not all. You just have to try them. I have a few from PhotoDeluxe PS LE and Elements. Rich

Yes, that's why I keep old copies of PSP 5.5 plugins so I can use them with CPT, though I upgraded PSP itself long ago.

those from psp 5/5.5 Effects and Filers folders will work just fine. I tried some of psp7 plugins and I think a small number of them worked, too, but I can't tell for sure.
