    Default Navbar Doesn't Show After Publishing

    Hi Guys
    First time to post and real newbie when it comes to XWD having only purchased it a month ago.

    Can someone please help me with the following.

    After creating a couple of Navbars (using Menu maker) and placing them on the first page of my new website all appears good until I tried and publish my site.

    The Navbars show correctly when I export & preview in XWD however they do not show after publishing it live on the net.

    All of the navbar files appear to have copied correctly to the index_html_files folder with my domain provider.

    Any ideas why the Navbars show in XWD preview but not after uploading etc.

    Many thanks
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

    Your source is calling the three required MM *.js file from the root of your site;

    <script src="xaramenu.js"></script><script menumaker src="smsf_navbar.js"></script>

    and

    <script src="xaramenu.js"></script><script menumaker src="biztech.js"></script>

    However, they have been uploaded to the index_htm_file folder;

    http://www.navstarfinancial.com.au/index_htm_files/xaramenu.js
    http://www.navstarfinancial.com.au/index_htm_files/smsf_navbar.js
    http://www.navstarfinancial.com.au/index_htm_files/biztech.js

    Easiest would be to upload the three MM *.js file to the root folder so that the browser can find them accordingly.

    The root of your site is: http://www.navstarfinancial.com.au (everything branches out from this)
    If you are uploading via an FTP client, this is normally the folder : /public_html/

    The internal publishing client of XWD is not very useful imho because it teaches you nothing about site structure, I never use it.

    Hey Sledger

    Appreciate the help

    Uploaded the *.js files to the root directory (/ublic.html/) and one Navbar shows in a weird way, the other nothing.

    www.navstarfinancial.com.au
