Placeholder text looks different in Firefox vs. IE7

This is more of a script question than a XWD question, but I'm hoping someone can help (as I know very little about it). I have a Paypal script that I had used in FrontPage that I'm now using in XWD with several lines/boxes to order items through. IE7 looks the same as the XWD web preview, but Firefox 3.5 adds an extra space between each field, so the area for the placeholder is twice as long in Firefox as IE7. Does anyone know why this is happening, or what I can do to correct it? This is the page if it helps: http://www.tummypillow.com/index.htm

EDIT: I think I answered my own question. It has something to do with how FrontPage uses line feeds and spacing in forms. I can almost get it right by stripping out all the excess. Not really sure what I'm doing, but enough hours of trial and error and it's almost perfect! Moving on...
