Hi Phil,

Perhaps you could show him a couple of the ones here....some ideas with the idea of consulting with him rather than criticizing the logo. Sharing ideas sometimes works with people.

If he doesn't seem to want to share ideas and consult on what is good, if it was me, I would drop it....but if an open mind prevails then you have something to work with.

Thanks for your thoughts. I have it under control now. I took one of the Xara templates, fiddled the colors (it looks good) and added his logotype after gussying it up a little. I just showed to the friend, told him this was it, it's stone, take it or leave it. And he left happy with what I've done. Just the index page but the rest will be a breeze. I sure don't know what life would be without Xara and without this fine forum. Those who don't know about it are missing something.
