    Default Quicktime link

I looked for threads on the subject, but didn't find an answer to my question. I have a Quicktime animation on my site. It works for those who have Quicktime, but I'd like to include a download link with the logo for those who do not. I looked on the Quicktime site for something ready made, but didn't find one. Do I have to design one?

Are you needing for a pre made QT button graphic like this?

    Name: Quicktime_Button..jpg

Size: 3.5 KB

You can copy the URL for this graphic above, Press Ctrl+Alt+W in Web designer and paste the URL then press 'Import'. It will download to your page.

I'm sorry. I'm really new at this, and I can't get it to work. I put a rectangle on the page as a placeholder, but I can't get it to do anything.

You don't need a placeholder for an image which serves as a link to the download page for Quicktime.

Just place the graphic (supplied above) onto your page, select it and open Web Properties. Under the Link tab in the 'Link to Web Address' enter http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

Thank you. It doesn't show in preview. Will it still appear after I upload?

What are you expecting to see aside from a linked QT logo?
The graphic will show in Preview if it's on page one (index) and the link will work.

I was hoping to see the Quicktime logo. I uploaded it as is, and it is not there. It was supposed to be on the third page of my site.

Correct - but that is too large for attachments.
    Try this please.
'File>>Save as' a copy (give it a different name), then remove all but the problem page, save and post that .web file please
