    xdp6 Something Is Different...

In WD6, you could take your elements all the way to the edge of the page and they would show up in the browser without being clipped. In DP6, designing a new web site, I've noticed that even though text comes close to the edge (not over,) when previewed it gets clipped. Are there some settings that need to be set up, or what's the deal?

The problem isn't in WD6, it is in the new DP6.

It should work in DP6 as well. Strange that WD6 and DP6 behave differently though.

From experimenting, it appears to only be happening with text, not graphics.

Please provide an example design that demonstrates the issue. I can not reproduce it as described here.

See the attached. The text under "Reinventing Exotics" bumped to the edge. gets clipped even though it all appears to be in the page.

When I tried your file (XDP6), I saw the warning about a non-standard font (Calibri) showing up differently in various browsers and the line at the upper right was cut-off for me, too. However, when the text line is "group"-ed it gets exported as a graphic and everything looks OK.

I'll bet that is the problem, the non-standard font. My fix has been to just back it off from the edge and make it work.

Though with a non-standard font, you should group it anyway so that it comes out as a graphic. As text, it's likely not to show up the way that you are expecting anyway. The extra benefit is that you can do the page clip thing with the graphic as well as guarantee that the font will look right.

    Hope that helps.
