    Hi OklaEd,

I forgot to write, that quality of this photos is very low...ofcourse the pics looks better in real. For example the young girl, this photo is not color modified. The same example is painting of the great master Velasquezze, it was my totaly the first oil painting, and it looks better in real. My style was very wide, but now I found my own way. But sometimes I like to paint old masters. Currently I paint master Rubbens...hmmmm...Kidnapping the (I don´t rememeber yet)daughters. It is very nice for his composition, colour and theme. Now I´m working on 12 pieces of oil act pictures in special style, for my second exhibition. I not expose, I paint :-)

I´m from Slovakia, but I lieve and work in Czech republic. Do you paint too?

    Hi Miress,
No ... I haven't painted in years. My mother painted years ago when she was alive ... but I never developed her ability to bring a painting to life. I acquired a taste for the "old masters" while studying art history back in college. I would love to be able to do what you do ... but have to settle for the pleasure I receive from creating the promotional and advertising work I do.

    OklaEd,

What is your job? I work in press company. It is not advertising company, but I have there a lot of freedom for creating and in simultaneity we have good name amid clients. Our company is in advancement and I hope that we will advance farther and farther :-).
I´m so dreary for absence of time for painting. But career be of importance.
    What about you?

    Hi Miress,
My primary occupation is Vice President Administration for an Oilfield related firm here in Oklahoma. I moonlight as technical director for a local museum. I produce promotional and advertising materials for both, as well as several related firms and area organizations. Much of the non-corporate work I do is on a volunteer basis ... and there is a long list of that type work always waiting for my attention.

Like you I find it hard to schedule time to just play and be creative ... that's why I spend time at this forum. This has become my creative release ... and the basis for my PERSONAL time.
