Larry, you can run a flash file inside your post.
    Follow this link for instructions.

I see your flowers now, they are beautiful. The animation works fine. I can't open it in a browser, though, and it still won't open in XX4.

Made the swf exported the animation but it will not import with XaraX. I thought it was just me.
Frances and Larry I'm not sure why you would try to import your exported .swf file into Xtreme. There is no import filter for swf.

please explain what was needed and perhaps we can provide a working solution.

I was trying an experiment to see if I could add layers of animation on top of the exported animation. Sort of like Xhris did. I would do like he did except I really don't understand how he did that.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

Sorry Frances, it was late (for me) and I did confuse you and Nancy in my post.

Larry I'm not sure how Xhris created his layered flash. I would use the Object Gallery and make the layers in one file rather than attempt to import a flash animation.

Angelize, Bill confuses us because we are both such sweet people

Bill, I just don't know better. I thought since Xara creates swf and exports it that I could import it and people have uploaded them here. I don't know how to view them otherwise.

    Hi Nancy,

I use a web browser to view local (on my computer) swf files.

Right click a swf file and select properties and change the Open with to your favorite browser. Of course the adobe flash player plugin needs to be installed for your browser.

You can drag'n'drop a .swf into any browser window to view it (for testing purposes), in case you don't want it to always open in the same browser

(Flash player required as mentioned by Bill)
