Please does anyone know this plugin that makes a picture/graphic look dirty (probably works like a 3dmax plugin QuickDirt.. hope i ain't tryna confuse you with this suggestion).

Mostly used on Urban CD covers to make them wanna look street like... patches and all sort of dirtiness. And does anyone knows this font that have this hiphop street wall paintings look. School of hardknock kinda thing. Need a quick reply.

I think the plugin route is the wrong approach. Most plugins work by applying a distortion of some kind. You need your underlying graphic to remain perfect, but covered with a layer of simulated grit, just as in real life. Perhaps one of the suggestions from this thread will help. - Andrew

Now that is a great idea, and exactly what Photoshop does with a filter....

Yeah I'm still very much around. I was ok with the font but not with the pluggin'. I made some very fine Computer Aided grafittis.

Check www.bankyw.com for the kinda effect on the BANKY text. I can't really look around to get some other sites where this effect as been used. ***The pacthes on the text. Its different from having something like snowflakes on an image. Like designs u see on some urban clothings so called (ruffs or anti-fits).

There's me thinking Ruffs were soming Elizabethans wore around their necks or a type of bird.
As for anti-fits, is this the same as anti-freeze, you spray it on and your trousers fall down?
