what is best resolution?

Hi to all,

Is there anyone who can help me regarding with the resolution i will going to use? cause im going to make a big banner with the size of 300cm width X 200cm heigth I don't know if 300pixel/inch is okay or i need more?

please help me..

Your printer will have ( or should have) software that will expand any file to get the best quality out of the file that you give him or her. That said if you can do the poster as a vector image in Photoshop or Xara then the scale for enlargement without loss of quality is almost unlimited, save it as a pdf file.
If your poster is made up of a mix of images etc you will not gain anything by saving at a res higher than the original images, in short you cannot add quality just by upping the dpi.

300 should be just fine
