    Default circles rendered as diamonds?

On attempting to create a moving halftone like pattern, I have created a large number of different sized circles viewed through a clipview. however, the resultant flash animation renders the circles as diamond shapes? is it the sheer volume of circles xara or flash cannot cope with?

Yes, you have far too many shapes.
You are only using 2 colours so you can simply reduce them to just 2 shapes instead of thousands.

    Hi Salaam,

Thanks for the suggestions. I assume you meant to combine > add the shapes together to make two complex shapes rather than hundreds of simple shapes. that did not seem to make much difference. anyway, I got (roughly) the effect I wanted. I just reduced the number of circles as you suggested.

So I deduce there must be some sort of limit set by xx or flash with the number of objects. Strange thing is that a circle is about the simplest thing you can define? (x,y,r) so I would have thought other shapes would be rendered as circles not the other way around!
