These are all most impressive! I like Angelize's soft fluff on the base of her's as the one I am going to make has that fluff on it. I didn't even think to try a blend. I will have to give that a try too. Really beautiful feathers everyone.

I learned how to model a feather some time ago, never actually did it until now.

    Lovely colors Johnny.

Mike, awesome modelling job. All those ribs must have taken quite awhile to make. Looks like they are made of bronze and I could pick them up.

My web site is Old West- Native American themed so I make a lot of feathers, pain in the
neck for me, never been very good at it. Obviously I really like this thread, great ideas
here. The 3D feather is very intriguing, like to try that. The feathers here are all made in
    PhotoImpact.

Some great work here guys and gals. Jerr your PI examples are a bit special.
I just use the feather tool in Xtreme for my feathering.

Outstanding feathers Jerr, I love the Native American theme.

Bob, you should be shot for such 'groaner' jokes, lololol!

I could not get a blend to work. I'm not sure how John and Salaam went about getting that blended look and then had colors in it too. So, I made a simpler one, trying to get the shape like the feather I have on my desk.

    Steve that is so pretty!

Here is mine. As usual it took me way too long. My fault, not the program.
    All done with XX5.

You guys are so cool! Great feathers all. I love these challanges, I always learn from them.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

The line blend colours are just 3 different coloured lines blended and then 'intersected' with the feather shape, or clip-viewed. The 'extra' colours Salaam used - I think - are patterns put behind the blend.
