Default Have a button in an iframe chane the url of the parent page?

I have a placeholder for a swf file that has a button. Is it possible to have an iframe placeholder button send a message like "load URL" to the containing page and not the place holder?

Yes. Set the targert for your button to either "_top" or "_parent".
"_parent" - will open link in the parent frame.
"_top" - will open link in the top-most frame.
