Error Code: -1 Error Activating XWD

Hello All,
First time poster.
If somebody can help me with this problem I'm trying to resolved for the last couple days. Screenshot below:

I'm running on Vista with the firewall disabled as per advise of the error message. But the error remains the same. For testing, I was able to activate the program in an XP machine but I want to use my office PC which has a better specs.

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Vicroria,

Welcome to the TG Forums.

My first suggestion would be to temporarily disable any Antivirus/Security software and try again.
If the error continues, add Web Designer to you firewall exception list.
If still no joy (and you haven't already) I'd recommend that you lodge a support ticket with Xara.

thanks sledger but NO Joy indeed! I tried your suggestions but the error keeps popping up. unfortunately, you cannot submit a support ticket until after registration.

Unable to submit the ticket; you do not have the permissions required to submit tickets on this support desk.

Maybe an 800#? or a tech support email?

I'm beginning to get frustrated I just hope my $48.00 is not a waste.

Yes this is correct. You can Register here first - then open a Support ticket.
