Pinwheel Stereogram

I was going through stereogram withdrawal and just couldn't take it anymore. Hopefully someone else, besides me, needs a 'fix', too.

Here's my latest hybrid creation completed using the new XXP5. All except for the actual generation of the mapped texture stereogram itself, that is. A warm thanks goes out to Bob Hahn for posting his 'Grass Brush' for all of us to use. Very nice indeed, while also being mighty handy.

Here's the same stereogram done without using the extra mapped texture lines layer. For those that can see these things, please be sure to let me know which one you like better. I have my favorite but I'll keep that information to myself, for now.

Hi Harry. I am able to see both and I found the one sans lines easier to "see" and it is my personal preference. Nice work.

The top one took me a bit to see but I finally got it. The second one took only a second but, perhaps, it's because I already knew what I was looking to see from the first one. Good job on these.

Dito... Ie first one took me a while to get then...smooth sailing...

I have to confess though that I think i prefer the second one...
The first one is more obvious and thus easier to see probably but I think the "neon highlight" takes away from the subtlety of the hidden 3d thing...
i.e its part of the allure that its subtle but i can see why others prefer the 1st as it is very striking...

Very clever that! It surprised me.
I prefer the 1st one although I can't seem to hold the image for long unlike Gary's images.

Great idea and very effectively created! The pinwheel foils seem so well suited to the effect. My eyes held on to the second one longer than any other I've seen. Usually I loose the effect in moments - this time I could sit back, move my head around and blink without loosing it.

Yep works for me. I prefer No 1 as it seems to have more vivid colours.

Mind you it is late and I have had a couple of vodkas (I actually fnd that helps with stereograms).

Great job HayTay,I learned to see these things long ago, but the only way I can do it is almost touch the screen with my nose and then slowly back away. Then when I have it I can look all around the screen without losing the effect.
So with that said, I like both, although I personally prefer the second one, both are easy to see.
The extra line layer doesn't do anything for me.
