In the exported PDF, the line color given in Xara is ignored.

I tried your file with both Design Pro 6 and XPro 5 and got PDF's with line colour in both attempts. I used the line gallery to get and apply the broken line. If your were doing a drawing for print I would always change the line to a shape before exporting as a PDF.

This is certainly not the case here.
Would you please be able to post your PDF that you have created from the .xar file, without converting line-to shape before exporting it?

Yes I made this workaround to convert lines to shapes before exporting it to PDF. The trouble of inconvenience is (as in my case), its a 70 page document and I need to go through page by page to convert line to shapes.
Same problem here, Black Line in PDF.
