One of my favorite actors. Very sad.. although if you were to watch some more recent interviews with him, you can see that many of the interviewers would have their facts wrong, and you could tell it kinda bothered him. It was the typical interviewer who was not fully aware of the details and facts of his career and they constantly mistook that he had done mostly movies related to martial arts, because it was the most info they could find on him in preparation for the interview.
Kinda like saying "I'm a huge fan... but I know absolutely nothing about your movies"
He also always seemed to feel rather uncomfortable or awkward in such interviews.

It could be, that he was in a depression, not content with where he had wound up in his career. I think he wanted to be more of an icon than he was.
But, no one but himself, will ever truly know what was going on inside. He was one of those (practically extinct) tough guys, who hid his deepest emotions very well.

Nice Work JA ! That should be the first comment here.
There is now suspicion of foul play.
It is very sad to lose any life. And yes he was one of my favorite actors, I loved the Kung Fu series.
But I do not believe in celebrities.

As good as he was in the Kung-fu series...
David Carradine done some of his best work playing villains...
    He played a great "Baddie".

    Nice vector BTW.

Yes very sad, another icon lost.

"I can confirm that we found his body, naked, hanging in the closet," Teerapop said. He said police were investigating and suspected suicide, though one of his managers questioned that theory.

Sounds like foul play to me.

    Very nice portrait JA.

I was a fan of his father and him. Both will be remembered fondly and sadly as there will be no new performances to admire and enjoy.

He was multi-talented and it's loss to have him gone. Great portrait.
