    Default Serious Error!

Can anyone tell me why I'm getting this message in XXPro4 when I try to use any of my PSplug-ins even the demo ones? This fault has only just started and if the message does not come up it shows in Xara as if its applied the effect but never openened the actual plug-in? I've tried re-installing the disc a few times but the same problem and to make matters worse now if I click on XPE I get the message it's stopped working. Anyone got any ideas!

Stygg have you rebooted your system to see if that helps clear things up?

Tried that Bill but no different, I also downloaded the trial version of XXP5 and got the same faults in that? Beginning to wonder if there is a fault on my comp. and not in Xara ?
My OS is Vista Home Premium.

Better yet Bill, I tried to open an old Xara file with plug-in effects and got the error message right away!

To anyone interested I solved the problem by adding XXtreme and XPE to the DEP ignore list in Windows

ran into that myself on many things. Bottom line-unless your hardware supports it, don't use it if can can avoid it. If you can't, then make exceptions where needed-when I get it on my old laptop, it literally bluescreens the pc hard...sigh.
