    Default Pale-headed Rosella

Cloudy day, fine rain, sun breaks through a little - Pale-headed Rosellas came to visit.
18-55mm lens, so yes, I crept up very slowly, taking a picture every few steps in case they took flight too soon.
The second shot below shows the last of the pair a nano-second before he took off.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

Nice shots Steve. I am surprised you where able to get as close as you did with a 18-55mm.

You're right John, I was too.
I only moved closer when their attention was distracted with what occupied them (eating). The same way a cat might creep up on it's prey.
Shot two is a crop of the original image though.

    Steve,
I love the one pre take off.

Rosellas can be very 'nervous' even after having humans around for a while!
