    Default File size too big

This animation has 21 frames. No tweening.
Why is the file size so large and how do I make it smaller?
As an animated GIF it is much smaller.

Default Re: File size too big

Hi again Anas, I've know idea why your swf's so big. It could be your using a very node heavy world map. Vectors are not always smaller than bitmaps. Here's my attempt, it needs some ice caps. (We both have the world spinning the wrong way!). My swf is only 8Kb's.

EDIT: Just noticed that the globe you've used is 21 different bitmaps but this still shouldn't make your file so big.

Thumbs down Re: File size too big

My globe is made up of frames created on X3D, so the globe is a series of bitmaps while the rest of the logo is vector.

I notice that yours is all vector and probably took 1/10 of the it took me. On top of that yours looks better as well.

I used X3D to shape the map onto the sphere but you have just shown that I wasted my time.

    Cheers Eric
