    great sketches everyone

here's another piece of SBing in xxp5 >5mins [it has been cropped slightly - they are in the front seats of a car]

still can't do the final art line work in xtreme, until such time as we get dynamic stroke shaping, but for very fast layout work this is brilliant for me

A WIP of mine (off a photo)...
Actually i have abandoned this as i had to squash the image down vertically to get the proportions right for this post...to my horror i realized as i was drawing that i had the pad down flat on the table but the photo up in front of me....the result being a stretched out image.....What a comical error...

Ie just like the corporate logos they put down on football fields (ie stretched out so they appear to pop up to a certain camera ETC....)
Anyway after a few hours painstakingly dabbing the pencil around trying to get the delicate features etc what a laugh...
Anyway its the kids in the pool.... i might try another photo and another face...nothing tests your metal like a likeness...tricky

P.S. Keep up the good work people

Nice to see everyone's sketches. This is the latest sketch that I did. It is with my tablet and illustrator. No pencils or paper used for this one.

Yes... posting here constitutes about 80% of my practice. (Occasionally I botch one )
But i did make an effort with that one to chill out.

Thanks for the encouragement...I really need it actually.

The last few were hits from my "wonder wall" !
Tis amazing what 85 photos and a big wad of blue tack can achieve.
What better fodder...and if i make a mistake I'm definitely not going to miss it...
