I did this one to see if I could draw one of those faces they use in makeup demo illustrations. After completing it, I thought a shadow behind it would make it pop out more. Try uniting a complex group like this into one single shape in Draw! It took forever and the result was terrible. I finally decided to copy the group to clipboard, paste it in Photopaint, create a mask from the object and create a path from the mask. It worked like a charm! I exported the path from Photopaint as a cmx file and imported it back in Draw. Maybe the trick would be helpful to someone.

    Hello there.
As I understood You need a shape that draw out a head. I`d like to do it this way:
1 Chouse all shapes and lines which take part in creating draw out line (no eyes, no mouth …)
2 Copy it in new layer
3 Convert all lines into shapes
    4 Weld all shapes

That is the easy way, and the one I tried initially, but Draw doesn't handle the conversion of lines into shapes very well. It just adds too many vertices, and sometimes break the nodes so odd fills appears. It is one of the things I don't like with Draw. Other drawing apps handles this very well. Not Draw. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/frown.gif
