Hello,
from what I've read PSP doesn't have this feature, that I found from google, in photoshop is called "Stroke path with brush"..

Quoting from http://loriweb.pair.com/psp9.html:
And could we please have the ability to stroke a path with a brush or Picture Tube! Hey, even Microsoft's Digital Image Pro has this ability. In fact, PSP is perhaps the only mainstream image editor that lacks this feature. Gary Barton's VectorPaint and VectorTube scripts are a help, but they can't substitute for real path stroking.

I agree to the author of that webpage, and that was related to psp9, so not exactly a "fresh request".

I think this feature should be added for brushes, tubes and also for art-media brushes..

Also, as has been said in the quoted text.. for now we can use that scripts: http://pixelnook.home.comcast.net/~p...ectorPaint.htm ..but last release is from december 2003..

so I think that this feature would be a very important one to have old psp users to switch to the new release..

and now my question is:
how do you do things like that? do you use that scripts? or are there other methods?

If you want to see some practical examples of how this feature could be used:

About the VectorPaint script mentioned above, I've did some tests and I was able to edit it to have it works with the art media brushes like the pastel tool

The result is very interesting but for now I just did it as a test.. I'd like to contact the original authors to know if I could make some works based on his scripts and how I could use it (if I'll write some scripts I'll do for free and probably I'd choose the new bsd license or lgpl ..)

The problem is that I can't find a way to contact the original authors do you know how I could do this?

Here is a sample image I've made with the edited script:

Please let me know what do you think and if you'll like to have this kind of features implemented too or if they are not that useful for you.

thanks.

bye,
Giovanni.
