Default Converting Images into a Dot Pattern

I am fairly new to corel. I am familiar with the object sprayer and blend function. I need to convert text and images into a dot pattern of 3mm circles seperated by tiny spaces. I can easily do the sprayer for text but cannot get this to work with imported images. Is there any way to do this to outline an image? Also what about filling in an image of text with the series of 3mm circles so that they entire object would be filled? Thanks in advance

    Hi Mermaid,

    Welcome.

You could also try the Postscript fill option, take a look at my screengrab, there are quite a few options there for filling objects. You can also tweak the fill by changing the parameters as you will see. To answer your question relating to fonts, I think you will have to create each separate character and export them as a TTF font to make up the family of characters.

    Hope this helps.
