Background Problem with the german Version of Xara Webdesigner

Hi,

i have a little problem with the german version of XARA Webdesigner. (it's called MAGIX Xtreme Web Designer 5 here in germany)
If i create a new page from scratch and set the background color with STRG+Drag to another color, the new background color is displayed in WD. But if i use the preview or export the page after that, the background is always white. If i show the sourcecode after export, i can see <body style=""> without the background-color style.

If i use a site template from the gallery, i can set the background color with STRG+Drag and everything is ok.

Is this a bug in the german version or is it my fault?

Hello Sebastian,

please create new design, apply a background color (STRG+Drag), save it as a .web file and attach it to the message.

I have to take a look at it to see what's going wrong.

Strange indeed. The same thing happens for your file in the English version of WD.
But if I apply a new background (Ctrl+DRAG for English KB's) then the preview works fine.

I see the file header of your .web is:
MAGIX Xtreme Web Designer 5 5.0 5.0.1.8242 CD

Where the English version is:
Xara Web Designer 5.0 5.0.1.7886 DL

I would have thought the core would be a similar build.
Are Magix supplying MXWD on CD?
