Unable to set text link

I have created a website and want specific text in the website to link to other pages and/or sites. I have highlighted the text and selected the link icon end entered the necessary information and clicked on apply, but unfortunately when I export the website the text is not links. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The important thing about text is that it has to remain text when you want selected words to be ordinary hyper links.
So this means you cannot group the text, group it with another object or overlay an object because WD will export that text as an image (.png)

OK. Thank you. Not sure exactly how I did it, but I first copied the test that had obviously been grouped, then deleted the area that was grouped, pasted the text back into the area and presto, I was able to set the links. Thank you again. It is so nice that a group like this exist to help out.
