Default xara xtreme versus xtreme pro

I am ready to purchase Xara xtreme, but am wondering whether I need to go to the Pro version or not. I currently make signs, wraps, and various printing projects (business cards, brochures etc). It's a big price difference - is it really worth while having the pro??? why?? Thanks

    Hi Wonders,

    welcome to Talkgraphics.

Perhaps the comparison table on this page will help in reaching a decision?

    Hi Wonders,

    Welcome to Talkgraphics.

This link shows the features of both the standard and pro versions. The features unique to pro are shown below the common features.

As you can see the pro features have support for Color Separations, Pantone Colors, and PDF/X export.

Buy the standard, and if you find that you need the other features, then upgrade to the pro. I realise that this may end up costing a little more and that the upgrade price isn't listed that way, but Xara have always been fair. That's the way I'd go anyway.
