    Default xtreme 3d vs xara 3d 6

PLEASE HELP....I created a logo in Xtreme using the 3d feature. I need to port it over another file. No matter how I save it, the white background shows up when I try to import it into another document.

How can I export with no background?
How can I create a graphic with no background in Xtreme?

Try exporting it as a PNG with True Color and Alpha and see if that works for you. In the export window, click on the arrow next to True Color and choose the True Color + Alpha option.

It would also help if you could post the .xar file here.

    Hi Reggaewoman,

    Welcome to Talkgraphics.

When you export your extuded shape select gif or png and ensure the transparency icon is enabled in the export dialog.

It would also be good to set the page background to the same colour you will be using the image over.

    Thanks Bill,

I'll give it a try. The image is going over a world map, so I can't set the background to a specific color.

Why not bring the world map into Xtreme and place your logo on top of it, then export the whole thing as a .png file.
    That's what I did...no jaggies at all!
